Examples
Example zombie couple videos

A couple, a ramen shop and one umbrella
Memory: "our first date at a ramen shop, sharing one umbrella".

The trend
What is the zombie couple video trend?
The zombie couple video, also called the zombie AI love story, is a short AI video format where two photos become a mini apocalypse romance. One person has been infected. The other faces them, hesitates, refuses to fight and opens their arms.
What makes it replayable is the edit. As the hug lands, a match cut swaps the cold, grey apocalypse for a warm memory of the same two people before the outbreak, with the embrace carrying straight across the cut. Creators usually post it as a 9:16 clip of 10 to 15 seconds on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
This generator builds that whole sequence from two ordinary photos: the survivor, the infected loved one and your own memory detail. Use photos of adults who agreed to appear, and tell viewers it is AI.
Three steps
How it works
- 01
Add the survivor and the infected
Photo 1 is the person who stays human. Photo 2 is the loved one who turns. One clear, front-facing face per photo.
- 02
Pick the apocalypse and the memory
Choose where the story happens, then add one memory the hug cuts to, like a first date or a wedding dance.
- 03
Download and post
The render takes a few minutes. Download the MP4 without a watermark and post it with a note that it is AI-generated.

What is the zombie couple video trend?
It is a short AI video where one person in a couple is infected in a zombie apocalypse, the other hugs them instead of fighting, and the hug match-cuts into a happy memory from before the outbreak.
How do I make a zombie couple video?
Upload a photo of the survivor and a photo of the loved one who turns, pick an apocalypse setting, optionally describe the memory, and tap Generate. The video is ready in a few minutes.
Is there a zombie filter or app?
A live zombie filter only changes how a face looks. The love story format is a generated video, so this page works in any mobile or desktop browser and nothing needs to be installed.
How much does it cost?
A standard 720p, 12-second video is 300 credits; the Seedance 2.5 Ultra render is 700. Credit packs start at $9.90 for 700 credits, are one-time payments and never expire.
What if a render fails?
If the AI errors out or a safety filter blocks the video, the credits go straight back to your balance. You only pay for videos that finish.
Do the two photos need to be a couple photo?
No. Each photo should show one person. They can be taken in different places, and the pair do not have to be a couple: friends and family work too.
Is the video gory?
It is not meant to be. We ask for grey skin, faint cracks and cloudy eyes, with the story centred on the hug and no gore or graphic violence. AI output varies, and a blocked render is refunded.
Will it look exactly like us?
It is AI-generated, so results vary. Each person appears in three states (human, infected, flashback) and faces, clothes or age can drift between them. Clear front-facing photos help most, and the Ultra render usually holds identity better. Simple stories work best, so we keep it to one hug and one memory.
Can I use photos of other people?
Only adults, and only with their permission. Do not upload photos of minors, do not use celebrity photos, and do not make videos meant to deceive or harass anyone. Say it is AI when you post.
