What is RetypeWords?

RetypeWords is an online image text editing tool that lets you replace words, fix prices, or rename signs directly in an image. It aims to match the surrounding font and style so the edit looks natural. The tool supports editing text in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, and Simplified or Traditional Chinese. You can start with a free trial without an account, but downloading requires sign-up and free exports include a visible mark.

How RetypeWords works

1. Upload your image (PNG, JPG, or WebP, up to 10MB).
2. Select the text you want to replace and type the new words.
3. The tool generates a new version, attempting to match the original lettering style.
4. Compare the before and after, then download your chosen result.

Generation uses one credit per task, regardless of how many text areas you replace in that image. Same-task retries and downloads do not cost extra credits. If a task ends without an image, the credit is returned automatically.

Pricing

Monthly plans:

• Starter: 25 credits/month for $9.99/month ($0.40 per generation).
• Creator (recommended): 60 credits/month for $19.99/month ($0.33 per generation).
• Studio: 150 credits/month for $39.99/month ($0.27 per generation).

All monthly plans include: credits added after each monthly payment, unused credits roll over, no expiry, multiple text areas per image, same-task retries and downloads at no extra credit cost, paid exports without the product mark, and cancel future renewals anytime.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Available payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Link, and JCB, and may vary by country and device.

• Source images, candidates, and exports expire after 48 hours and are scheduled for deletion.
• One credit is deducted when generation starts; discarding a generated image does not refund the credit.
