Remove Subtitles From Video

Subtitle Remover is an online AI tool that lets you remove subtitles from video files when the captions are burned into the picture. Instead of covering the text with a blur, mosaic or black bar, its temporal inpainting model looks at the frames before and after each subtitle and rebuilds the pixels that were behind it, so the result looks like footage that never had captions.

Upload an MP4, MOV or MKV up to 1 GB and 2K resolution. Auto mode uses OCR to find captions at the bottom of the frame, and Box select lets you draw over any subtitle, channel watermark, logo or on-screen text you want erased. Processing runs in the background, and you download a clean MP4 at up to 1080p.

It works for hardcoded Chinese and English subtitles, short drama clips, AI-generated videos from tools like Seedance, and source footage you want to localize or re-caption with your own branded subtitles.

Pricing is per second of video: 1 credit per second in Auto mode, 3 credits per second in Box select. New accounts get 15 free credits to try it. Uploaded and processed files are deleted automatically after 30 days, and your videos are never used for training.
