CleanWhiteBG is a browser-based tool that replaces the background of a photo with pure white (#FFFFFF) in one click. You upload an image, choose Standard or Quality, and the service removes the original background and paints a flat white one — no manual masking and no desktop editing software.

What it does

The workflow is three steps: upload a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB, pick an output mode, and process. Standard mode returns results up to 720p and is intended for everyday product and portrait photos. Quality mode goes up to 2K and preserves fine edges such as hair strands, fur, jewelry and glass. Instead of white, you can also request a transparent PNG cutout from the same upload.

Batch jobs are supported: up to 50 images in Standard mode or 20 in Quality mode, either selected individually or uploaded as a ZIP archive. When the batch finishes, the successful results can be downloaded as a single ZIP. Files in an unsupported format inside a ZIP are skipped and never charged, and failed jobs are refunded automatically.

Who it is for

The tool targets catalogue and marketplace workflows — e-commerce sellers, listing managers and marketplace operators who need a consistent white background across many SKUs — as well as photographers, designers and small studios that have to deliver white-background cutouts without a full retouching pass. Because nothing has to be installed and no account is needed to try it, it also suits occasional users who need one photo fixed.

Standout capability

Two things separate it from a plain background remover. First, processing runs server-side, so closing the browser tab does not interrupt a batch; when it finishes, a download link is emailed and stays valid for seven days. Second, Quality mode removes overlaid watermarks and added text — platform watermarks, usernames, captions, QR codes or timestamps — even when they overlap the subject, while leaving a product's own printed branding intact.

On data handling, uploaded images and previews are deleted automatically within two hours, and results are removed shortly after download and never kept longer than seven days. Previews are free without an account at up to 480px on the long side; signed-in users get three full-resolution Standard downloads per day, after which credit packs cover further images (1 credit per Standard image, 3 per Quality image).
