1in8b life

1in8b life is a browser-based life simulation for ages 15+. Each session starts with a newborn drawn from 172 countries; the player follows one life and makes choices at ages 5, 15, 30, 50 and 70. Choices affect modeled health, happiness, knowledge and relationships. Optional AI LIFE adapts scenes to those choices and can bring earlier people or promises back into later moments. Country birth shares use UN World Population Prospects 2024, and country indicators reference World Bank data. Family details and story events are fictional; the ending age is a simplified model based on country averages, not a forecast about an individual. Play is free through age 30 with sign-in. The optional AI LIFE Pass is a one-time $9.99 lifetime purchase; the separate Keepsake Pass is $3.
